Over the past 9 months, I have had this reoccurring vision that comes to me. The vision will be brought back to my remembrance during moments where it is the most random and unique opportunities. Nevertheless, the vision is very short, yet never changing. Over the past 9 months I have weighed the vision back and forth to make sure that I am not forcing something from my own emotions and/or personal feelings. I have continued to seek the Lord and what He could be reminding me of, concerning the same vision. I have come to the understanding that this is an important prayer assignment for our Nation. Because of the weight that I feel with this call to action (prayer), I am sharing in hopes that many will also be praying (more than ever) for this Nation (The United States of America).

Before I share the vision, I want to encourage everyone who may read this to understand that this is not simply about politics, political parties, and/or elections. This is solely about what is happening in our Nation, and the responsibilities that we have as Sons/Daughters of God within this Nation.

The Vision:

I have had the same vision of me looking at The Statue of Liberty (as if I was hovering over the water and circling around Lady Liberty). As I am looking at Lady Liberty, I begin to notice the the waters surrounding the area begin to turn a deep red color. The waters began to churn upward with more aggression and force. Soon the waters begin to consume the base of the statue, and then it’s as if the waters remain at a specific level, never touching the statue itself. However, the deep red slowly works its way up the the statue, only to make it somewhere half way between the feet and knees. The waters remain at the base, but the color has now changed the look of Lady Liberty. When I see this (time and time again), I cannot help but to believe that it is the blood stain.

What Could This All Mean?

I genuinely believe that the reason that I keep seeing this same vision over and over, is due to the LORD placing an emphasis on my prayers for our Nation. Granted this could specifically be just for me, and yet the reason I am sharing this with everyone is because the vision hasn’t went away. At this point I also believe that the LORD is highlighting this so that I may share and bring others into agreement.

I do realize that some could read this vision and possibly believe that it could signify some kind of attack in the region near the Statue of Liberty. I don’t want to discredit that at all. This could have some kind of implication to that very thing and we should be praying for New York and New Jersey. Though this is a possibility, I also want to share what I believe the vision is also pointing to. When I see this vision, I don’t get the impression that it represents an attack, as much as it represents what is happening to the statue itself. In other words, what is happening to the representation of the statue…LIBERTY. The waters never touch the statue, but they do rise and are leveled at the base of the statue. And yet…the deep red of the waters seem to impact the statue as the bottom part of the statue begin to turn red. It’s as if you are standing in water, and the bottom of your pant legs become more and more wet, though you weren’t standing in that deep of water. 

I genuinely believe that the statue turning red is signifying a sacrifice of Liberty. The dark red is a reminder of blood, and how the statute itself represents Liberty. Therefore the vision is revealing the death of Liberty for our Nation.

Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death

On March 23, 1775, in a letter addressed to the Convention’s president, Peyton Randolph of Williamsburg, Patrick Henry famously signed off by stating, “I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

After reading the letter and knowing the now famous quote, one should always ask themselves why did Henry place an importance on Liberty? After all, we are a Free Nation. Our freedoms are what makes this Nation as strong as she has been over the years. Granted, we have been a flawed Nation with many mistakes. But because of our founding fathers and their ability to construct a Constitution for a Republic Government, we have always been able to make the correct changes throughout our history. And yes, our government is a Republic, not a Democracy (please study this if you do not understand, nor recognize the difference). 

When you study the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and even the Bill of Rights (which define our Freedoms), they all are founded upon the reality of Liberty. This Nation was established from the foundation of Liberty, and not actually Freedom. It was because of Liberty, that Freedom was given to the citizens who call this land home. But herein lies the problem with many today, there is a multitude of individuals who do not understand the difference between Liberty and Freedom. Benjamin Franklin once said, ”Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” 

The Declaration of Independence details that all men are created equal and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. There it is again, Liberty! Our Fore-Fathers fought for Freedom in order to establish Liberty.

Is There a Difference?

Liberty, by definition means, “the right and the power to believe, act, and express oneself as one chooses, of being free from restriction, and having the freedom of choice. It is the condition of having the power to act and speak without restraints.” The word liberty comes from the Latin word “libertatem” which means “freedom” or “condition of a freeman.” 

Ultimately Liberty is the condition where individuals are given the ability to live and react according to their will. Because of this will they are able to govern themselves taking responsibility for their actions and behaviors. Hence the importance of the Nation being established on the basis of Liberty, not Freedom. Granted, this does not mean that having liberty means you are able to go against ethic and/or moral values. 

Freedom is defined as “the state of being free to enjoy political, social, and civil liberties. It is the power to decide one’s actions, and the state of being free from restraints or confinement.”

Freedom simply means that individuals are able to make choices that are free from coercion or restriction. Freedom is enjoyed by all individuals except those who are in prison. The word freedom comes from the Old English word “freodom” which means “state of free will, charter, or deliverance.” Freedom usually pertains to a person’s choices in everything that he does.

Liberty is the power to act and express oneself according to one’s will. Freedom is the power to decide one’s actions. Freedom is inherent to mankind, while it exists within them by virtue of humanity. Liberty is a political construct that allows people to enjoy freedoms such as property rights, free speech, freedom of association, freedom of religion, freedom of press, etc.

As a Nation Today

While discussing the Nations hottest topics surrounding facial coverings and medical implementations, Arnold Schwarzenegger said, “Screw your freedom. Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities. You cannot just say ‘I have the right to X, Y, and Z.’ When you affect other people then it gets serious. Yeah you have the freedom to wear no mask. But you know something? You’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask.”

Here is the thing, as a Nation today we are blurring the boundaries of Freedom and Liberty. We are easily doing so simply because we have failed to understand the importance of Liberty, thinking only in terms of Freedom. Liberty is not the same as Freedom, or vice-versa. When we open the door to redefine (any) Freedom that we have been given by our Constitution, we are ultimately removing the foundation of our Liberty. As citizens of this Nation, this is extremely important. As Sons and Daughters of God, who call this Nation home, it is vital for you to know how important our Liberty is.

Please allow me to give understanding of this through the word of God…

“So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”” – John 8:31-32 (NASB)

This verse gives us the complete understanding that it is The Truth, and knowing The Truth will give you FREEDOM. Therefore we have to realize that each and every individual can only obtain Freedom through The Truth of The Word, which is Jesus Christ. It’s when you acknowledge and receive The Truth, we obtain Freedom through Christ. It’s because of Salvation many individuals in church have a sense of Freedom, ultimately describing their home church as a place of Freedom. When many believers come together in the realization of The Truth, there will be a sense of Freedom. With that in mind, it does leave me wondering that if Freedom is within the congregation because of Truth, how can it be an atmosphere that is controlled or limited?

Throughout the earth there are many congregations that have Truth through salvation, and yet there are those who refuse to acknowledge the work of Holy Spirit. We read where there can be a quenching of Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19-20), and because of this it’s easy to say that’s one way where we see a controlled or limited freedom. But what if there is more? What if the Freedom we desperately desire is hinged on something that we think we understand, but haven’t fully comprehended? What if it is simply a matter of Liberty?

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” – 2 Cor. 3:17 (NASB)

* Quickly, let’s review…it is The Truth and Knowing The Truth that brings Freedom, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty.

Wait a minute! Doesn’t Freedom mean Liberty and Liberty mean Freedom (Spiritually speaking)? When we are describing where the Spirit of the Lord is, aren’t we really just saying Freedom? It’s things like this that took me farther into this understanding from the LORD. And yet, Liberty is something that we haven’t fully comprehended in the church. Now look, it is dangerous to try and get a biblical understanding with English definitions. It’s important to understand that I am not simply saying this because we have two different English definitions it automatically means there is a difference in the Word of God. So, let’s look at the actual Greek word and meaning of the two in these different scriptures.

* FREE (John 8:32) – eleutheroo

To make free, liberate from the power and punishment of sin, the result of redemption. To Deliver, To Set Free, To Release

* LIBERTY (2 Cor. 3:17) – eleutheria

Freedom, as liberty to do as one pleases, freedom from the yoke of the Mosaic Law, Grace, Legitimate

When you obtain Truth, you obtain Freedom from the punishment of sin. You are Free, you are redeemed! When the Spirit of the Lord walks into the room, YES everything changes. There is a liberty (an increase of Freedom) to do more than what is possible in the natural. One of the main reasons we never tap into real Freedom is because we reject Holy Spirit in which cuts off our Liberty. It’s the Liberty of Holy Spirit that is able to change atmospheres. When Liberty is present, what is natural (law of mankind) has to surrender to the supernatural (Kingdom of Heaven). When Liberty is evident we will see more and more signs, wonders, miracles, and healings. It’s Liberty that crosses natural obstacles and it’s why many congregations never see true biblical freedom. When we continue to cut off Holy Spirit we end up with a controlled or limited Freedom.

Think of it this way…Once you get a certain age you can study and take a test to obtain you driver’s license. Once you pass you have the freedom to drive on any road you choose to take. However, you do not have the Liberty to drive as fast as you want due to speed limits. You see many have freedom through Truth, but have the Liberty to cross natural barriers. Holy Spirit permits the Super of God to be attached to the natural therefore creating a Liberty within Freedom. Don’t settle for simply an atmosphere of Freedom when there is Liberty worth going for! I am so thankful for the Freedom through the Truth of Jesus Christ, but it’s not enough to settle just for Freedom alone when we can walk in the Liberty of the Spirit of the LORD…Give me Liberty!

Back to the Vision

It’s evident that our Nation is creating enemies between individuals for multiple different reasons. With this strategy, the waters are rising and our Nation is creeping closer and closer to a collapse. Whether it is self-destructive, economical, and/or political…our Nation is on the brink of crumbling. As sons and daughters of God, we need to come to realization that our Nation is under an attack from a demonic realm and not simply because of a difference of opinion. If our Nation ever loses its foundation of Liberty, we will never be able to overcome its destruction. The Body of Christ must pray that we (as a Nation) repent for our wickedness, our jealousy, our envy, our strife, our racism, our hatred, our pride, our selfishness, and much more. We must come back to the Heart of the Father, and in doing so, put our hope and trust back in the hands of The Lord, and not a politician sitting in a position of authority. The Body of Christ must rise up and defend our Liberties yet again. We must see our Nation continue to honor Israel, and turn our hearts back to One Nation Under God. This is not a republican or democrat issue. This is a sinful nation issue. We must pray, like never before. Our Liberty depends upon it. There is a spiritual and natural fight that is occurring to remove our Liberty. In this Nation, they will use the natural to attempt to weaken the spiritual. The Body of Christ needs to recognize what is happening so that we may war in the spirit!
